Micheal Boettger grew up on a family cash crop farm in St. Johns.  After spending 10 years as a manager in a lumber treatment plant he wanted to get back into agriculture.

 

“I wasn’t enjoying that corporate world and the policy and procedure culture,” he said.  “I wanted to get out and agriculture was the perfect environment for me to return to.”

 

Boettger joined the GAPS FS staff in 2012 as a precision agriculture sales representative.  He is a certified Precision Planting Premier Dealer and is devoted to educating farmers about the technological software and hardware that will help increase yield and simplify their operation.

 

Michael resides in St. Johns with his wife, Stephanie, and daughters Katelyn, Lauren and Madeline.
